Hi, I’m Taylor - the photographer behind April Wild.

For over 14 years I’ve been capturing real, meaningful moments for couples, families, and small businesses. After photographing more than 100 weddings, I felt a pull back to what matters most to me: connection, nature, and people’s everyday stories.

My work is inspired by the wild beauty of Muskoka - its lakes, pines, rocks, and slow, golden evenings. I believe the best photos happen when you feel relaxed, seen, and surrounded by a place you love.

“April Wild” is named after my soul dog, April - a constant reminder to be present, joyful, and a little bit untamed. She lived to be almost 14. Her spirit is woven into everything I create, as she will always be a part of me.

Today, I specialize in natural lifestyle portraits and authentic branding sessions for small businesses. Whether we’re wandering a forest trail, shooting on a dock at sunset, or capturing the heart of your brand, my goal is always the same:
